Last minute gift guide

It seems crazy, but Christmas is just over a week away. If you’ve found yourself scratching your head for ideas, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorites – old and new alike. Many of these would also make great hostess gifts without breaking the bank!

.Domino Magazine – it’s back! Officially at the top of my Christmas wish list, Domino, which was reincarnated as a quarterly, is offering yearly subscriptions once again – a good indication that they intend to stick around for the long haul. ($47.99 for an annual subscription)

.Sugarboo Designs Smart Elephant Pillow – just try and look at this one and not smile. ($140)

.Retro Kitchen Bowls – What’s better than vintage Pyrex? Vintage Pyrex that you don’t have to wash. ($18.38)

.How to Hang a Picture – a beautifully illustrated guide for the new and not-so-new homeowner alike. ($14.48)

.Moscow Mule Copper Mug – I always think it would be great to be able to make Moscow Mules at home, but I am just never willing to buy the mugs for myself; making these a fun and welcomed gift. Bonus: you can get them engraved for $7 more. ($9 apiece)

.Mercury Tealight Holders – I’m not sure I will ever grow tired of the sparkle of candlelit mercury glass, and at such a reasonable price you can gift a whole collection to light up a loved one’s mantle. ($3 apiece)

.Illume Amber Dunes Boho Candle – Burns down evenly and smells amazing. What more could you ask for? ($23.50)

.Domino: The Book of Decorating – an oldie but goodie, what better way to round up the list than with another favorite from Domino? This book is a compilation of the best rooms featured in the magazine’s original run. It’s a beautiful addition to any room or bookshelf, and I guarantee this is one they will want to flip through again and again. ($19.77)
